Sugar Land Rotary President Bouche Mickey awarded two District 5890 Governor's citations to two deserving Sugar Land Rotarians, Scott Finley and Ashley Foster.
 
A Governor's Citation was given to Sugar Land Rotary past-president Scott Finley for his outstanding work in supporting Service Above Self in Sugar Land Rotary. In addition to serving as a Past President of Sugar Land Rotary, he chaired the 2010 Shrimpfest, the major fundraiser event held by Sugar Land Rotary. Finley was also recognized for his hard work in establishing a Computer Lab in the Arcola/Fresno community that has assisted children to enhance their academic skills and test scores in the Fort Bend ISD. The lab has certified teachers that provide assistance to children after school. "We thank Scott for his contributions to Fort Bend County and for helping people to help themselves," said President Bouche Mickey. Sugar Land Rotarian Ashley Foster received a Governors Citation for outstanding work as membership chairman. Foster has increased membership in Sugar Land Rotary by 15 plus members which places the club ranking among the top two clubs in District 5890. "There are 63 Clubs in District 5890, and Ashley and has done an outstanding job as membership chairman for Sugar Land Rotary," said Mickey.
