We had a wonderful start to the day, joining the Attack Poverty volunteers to help make the community just a little bit better. What an amazing group of volunteers, helping provide food, helping with animal care, and then what I did, which is walking the neighborhood and making sure that everyone’s needs are being met. That is an insightful way to learn about what kind of help can be given. We were able to complete several surveys, and many were amazed that Friends of North Rosenberg offers, such as GED teaching, English classes, and much more.
It was also great to see fellow Rotarian Ayo Alabi there with some other Rotarians from his club! They participate in any yet another project from Attack Poverty, which was distributing food in the community.
