The Rotarian Of the Month for May 2024 joined Rotary 23 years ago in 2000.
We are so proud to have in our club a Rotarian that represents and shares the ideas of Rotary to the entire community by being elected as the Sugar Land Counselor! Plus she is active with Meals on Wheels and is a board member of The Exchange Club of Sugar Land and also the Fort Bend Regional Council. In her role as counselor she has big responsibilities with the SLDC, IRC, FAC, TIRZ No3 and the Houston-Galveston ACTPC! Not sure what that all is - but due to her strong character and commitment to her constituents, she is helping our community be a better, kinder place to live in - and with a stronger economy. She also owns Branding Matters, a custom decorated wearables company, which began in her garage and has grown to its current location in the Historic Sugar Land area in District 1. Note: The cool Sugar Land Rotary district shirts are from her company!
She and her loving and very supportive husband, Brad, are in their 31st year of marriage!
