The Rotarian Of the Month for May 2024 joined Rotary 4 years ago in April of 2021. We are very lucky to have such comitted Rotrian in our club that participates in so many of our community projects and social events. He steps up to help out whenever asked, and recently spent dozens of hours of his personal time, with many meetings at his house, to support our fundraiser, Shrimp & Spice.We are very fortunate to have such a generous and supportive member in our club! This Rotarian speaks French and Arabic, and originally comes from Lebenon. Interesting fact: Lebenon's capital Beruit is a major banking hub, and was known as being the Switzerland of the Middle East! He graduated from NYU Tandon School of Engineering, and earned an MBA from the Texas McCombs Schools of Business in Austin (one of our nation's to rated business schools - rated #16 in the country). He most recently worked at Cisco as Director - Complex & Critical Problems, basically as a specialized consultant on process improvements that increase revenues while decreasing costs. He is quite versatile, as for a time he was also a realtor! He is married to his loving and very supportive wife, Janet, who he has been married with for almost 27 years!
